                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS AND THE CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO
                   EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, ADDENDUM 1
                   TO AGREEMENT WITH COOK & SPENCER
                   CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
                   RELATIVE TO THE DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT
                   FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF ELEVEN THOUSAND,
                   NINE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($11,900.00), INCREASING THE TOTAL AMOUNT TO
                   NOT EXCEED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
                   THIRTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($31,730.00)
                   UNLESS AN ADDITIONAL CHANGE IN SCOPE OF
                   SERVICES IS AUTHORIZED.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and 
are
       hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, Addendum 1 

       to Agreement with Cook & Spencer Consultants, Inc. for 
engineering
       services relative to the Downtown Streetscape Project for an
       additional amount of $11,900.00, increasing the total amount to
       not exceed $31,730.00 unless an additional change in scope of
       services is authorized.
